Marin Healthcare District to Hold Public Meeting on the Marin General Hospital Replacement Building Project Final EIR
GREENBRAE, CA — The Marin Healthcare District (MHD) will discuss the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Marin General Hospital Replacement Building Project at its District Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 14, and will hold another public meeting in June 2013 at a date yet to be determined, to consider certification of the Final EIR and approval of the project.
Before preparing the FEIR, the District released a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR), which was made available for public review and comments between September 4, 2012 and October 22, 2012. The District then prepared and released a Response to Comments received during that period. Additionally, the public had the opportunity to provide further comments during a 14-day public review period between March 29, 2013 and April 11, 2013. The District has now prepared draft responses to the second round of public comments, including comments received during the County of Marin Planning Commission meeting on April 22, 2013.
Copies of the FEIR and all relevant documents incorporated into it may be obtained or made available for public review at the District’s office, 100 B Drakes Landing Road, Suite 250, Greenbrae, California, 94904, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. They also may be viewed/downloaded from the District’s website at www.marinhealthcare.org. Copies of the FEIR are also available at the Marin County Civic Center Library (3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, California) and the Larkspur Library (400 Magnolia Ave, Larkspur, California).
The MHD Board meeting takes place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the Conference Center at Marin General Hospital, 250 Bon Air Road, Greenbrae.
