A Taste of Germany - 2016
Marin General Hospital Foundation’s 25th annual golf tournament, A Taste of Germany, was held on Monday, September 19, 2016, at the Meadow Club in Fairfax.
Let’s raise a stein and say danke to our Community! Marin General Hospital Foundation’s 25th Annual Golf Tournament, A Taste of Germany, was a sold-out success raising over $250,000 for Marin General Hospital’s Orthopedic Program. The tournament was held on Monday, September 19th at Meadow Club in Fairfax. Event Chairs, Lydia & Tony Cameron helped us kick-off the weekend with a Sunday Night Dinner Celebration acknowledging our sponsors. Guests enjoyed a lovely outdoor dinner and traditional German music complete with alphorns and song!
Golfers were treated to an Oktoberfest-like feast on the day of the tournament. A live band played at The Oasis – and more than a few thirsty golfers danced a polka or two. Several players came very close to winning a new car from Sonnen Porsche (our Hole-in-One Sponsor). Hats off to our volunteers including community members and staff representation from Patient Experience, Human Resources, Orthopedics and Communications.
Dr. Brian Su, Emcee extraordinaire saluted our supporters and introduced Dr. Liz Dailey, Total Joint Replacement Program Medical Director, to share comments about the Orthopedic Program. Dr. Dailey spoke to the talent and orthopedic expertise of her colleagues at Marin General Hospital. Grateful patient Steve Voss extended gratitude for the care that he recently received.
Bis zum nächsten Jahr, or until next year… DANKE for all you do for our community hospital.
