MarinHealth Brings Philips MRI Scanner Designed to Improve Image Clarity, Exam Speed and Patient Comfort to Marin
MarinHealth announced today the installation of a Philips Ingenia 3.0T MRI system at their 1260 South Eliseo Drive Imaging Center in Greenbrae, California. Both MarinHealth and Philips are excited to offer the latest in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology to better serve the needs of the community. This high-field strength system was designed for high-quality imaging, enhanced patient experience and decreased exam time. It is also the first and only system of its kind in Marin county.
This technology is designed to quickly perform high-quality MRI scans with a high level of patient comfort. Ingenia 3.0T can help reduce exam time and has a wide 70 cm opening to accommodate patients of varying size, age and physical condition. This makes Ingenia less confining than 60 cm MR systems and a more attractive noninvasive imaging option for MarinHealth patients.
The Ingenia 3.0T incorporates a number of breakthrough technologies designed to deliver exceptional image quality. It quickly provides radiologists and physicians with detailed MRI images needed to help confidently diagnose many different anatomical and structural problems in the body.
