It’s a Boy! First Marin Baby of 2025 Makes an Entrance on January 1 at 12:37 p.m.
A baby boy, born to parents Torie and Jimmy Singer of Mill Valley, claimed the title of “MarinHealth Medical Center’s First Baby of the Year” on Wednesday, January 1, at MarinHealth Medical Center.
The 8-pound 6-ounce baby was born at 12:37 p.m. on New Year’s Day. The parents named their new baby boy James Leo Singer. James has a 20-month-old sister, Addie.
“We are so thankful for a healthy, chunky baby, and another MarinHealth delivery that was special, safe, and thoughtful due to the amazing team here,” said the proud parents, both age 36.
“This is a truly special way to kick off the new year,” said Deanna Williams, Director of Maternity Services at MarinHealth. “Congratulations to Marin’s first baby of 2025! We’re incredibly proud of our beautiful, state-of-the-art maternity unit and the exceptional care team behind it.
