Infant Care Series - E

The Infant Care Series can be taken on its own, but we recommend taking it together with the Childbirth Series (either the one-day Saturday or three Wednesday evenings). We also offer a Value Package with a discounted rate for taking all of the classes. Please bring a bottle of water with you to the classes.

Class E - Post Partum Expectations and Realities of New Parents

Having a baby is a joyful occasion, but new parents are not always prepared for the changes in their daily routine, their emotions, or even their relationship. This class is designed to prepare parents for the changes that happen in their lives during and after the baby is born. Topics include:

• Delivery to Discharge
• Your Physical and Emotional Changes
• Finding your New Normal
• Recognizing Postpartum Depression and Anxiety
• Community Support Services, including Pathways Support Group

Cost: $60 per couple, per class ($280 Value Package available for Childbirth and Infant Care Series)
