Azita Taghavy, MD

I am a board certified internist practicing as a hospitalist at MarinHealth Medical Center. I graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the top medical school in the country. I did my residency in Internal Medicine at Tehran University. After that I worked as a faculty member at the University. I also worked as a practicing Internist at one of the largest hospitals in the country. After a short stay as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health, I completed another three years of training in Internal Medicine in St. Mary’s hospital. I have been working as a hospitalist at MarinHealth Medical Center since 2010. I also practiced primary care for some time in Greenbrae, California.

I am an avid reader and enjoy long walks, swimming, and spending time with my family. I am fluent in Farsi.
