Caroline Barnhart, MD
Dr. Caroline Barnhart was born and raised in South Florida before moving to rural New Hampshire to attend Dartmouth College, where she majored in History and minored in Psychology. Dr. Barnhart spent a few years post college completing a post-baccalaureate degree as well as working in research out here in the Bay Area at UCSF’s department of geriatrics. She then headed back east to study at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she discovered her love for Women’s Health.
Missing the outdoors and beautiful weather on the West Coast, Dr. Barnhart headed back to the Bay Area to complete her residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland. She had the incredible opportunity to learn from outstanding physicians about minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries and high risk obstetrics. Dr. Barnhart is thrilled to be a part of MarinHealth because of their unparalleled commitment to exceptional care in
Women’s Health.
As an OB/GYN, Dr. Barnhart is privileged to have the opportunity to care for women throughout their lives—from the most joyful moments to the more vulnerable and challenging moments.
