Nicole Schroeder, MD treats all conditions and traumatic injuries in the upper extremity. Her clinical interests include traumatic hand and forearm injuries, tendinoses of the upper extremity, Dupuytren's contracture, arthritis, blood vessel and nerve problems, bone deformities, dislocations and fractures, joint problems, ligament and tendon injuries, and tumors.

Dr. Schroeder is the chief of the Hand, Elbow and Upper Extremity Service at UCSF and is a clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the UCSF School of Medicine. She serves as associate director of UCSF's orthopedic residency program and director of the program’s education curriculum. In addition, Dr. Schroeder is director of Orthopedic Hand Services at San Francisco General Hospital.
