Sandra L. Shefrin, MD, FRCP
Dr. Shefrin has been practicing Neurology in the Bay Area for over 25 years. She has been at her Mill Valley location since 2006. She sees the full range of neurological conditions, and is an Expert in Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.
Dr. Shefrin trained at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, the top rated neurology residency in the country. She also completed a two year fellowship in Parkinson’s disease at the world-renowned Neurodegenerative Disorders Center at the University of British Columbia. She has authored several papers, including a review entitled “Therapeutic Advances in Idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease.”
She spends a lot of time with her patients, and provides thorough and thoughtful evaluations. She allows time for patients to ask questions and works with them to arrive at solutions to their problems. Patients are welcome to see her for a second opinion.
