Son L. Nguyen, MD

I am a board certified internal medicine physician and a proud member of Marin Hospitalist Medical Group. I have practiced Internal Medicine with special focus in Hospital Medicine for more than ten years. As a physician, I have a very simple philosophy: treating my patient as if my relative is my patient. With this in mind, I also want to involve patients and their family members’ input when possible to make the best decisions for patient’s care. In addition, I work with other health care team members to ensure my patients receive the highest quality of care. My invaluable joy is to see my patients get well at discharge from the hospital and spend their quality of time with their loved ones at home.

Outside of my professional life as a physician, I am a father and a husband. I have three wonderful children: one boy and two twin girls. We enjoy outdoor activities like walking in the parks, biking, and soccer. We also read together as a family to enrich our knowledge and learn from each others’ experience.
