William Tomkiewicz, MD
Dr. William Tomkiewicz is a graduate of Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He did his internal medicine residency at Roosevelt Hospital (now called Mt. Sinai West) in Manhattan, followed by a four year stint at Bellevue Hospital in the Emergency Department. He then moved to Northern California and worked Emergency and Urgent care in the Kaiser system.
His father was a physician and he never really considered any other profession. Dr. Tomkiewicz feels very lucky that his path in life was always clear and suited his personality. Every day that he works is full of challenges and rewards. He has been in practice for almost 40 years. What really keeps Dr. Tomkiewicz going is the fact that people are infinitely interesting.
Outside of work, his interests are sports and music. Sports of almost any kind, and music of almost any kind. Dr. Tomkiewicz also plays guitar mostly, but also some bass, ukulele and trumpet.
