Stress Management Tips
As stress levels are approaching all-time highs, here are some concrete tips for staying resilient for you and your teams:
- Stay present as much as possible: Avoid future-focused scenarios, especially in areas you have no control over
- Find ways to unpack difficult emotions: Keep in contact with people who support you
- Practice self-care: Stick to your routines and prioritize eating well, exercising and getting sound sleep
- Take time for self-reflection: Practice mindfulness exercises, meditation, or journaling to debrief, so you can process all that is going on. Don't forget to self-coach. Be kind to yourself and remember that, “I'm doing the best I can”
- Participate in peer support groups: Talk with colleagues or join hosted conversations to connect with others; share concerns and process all that is (see offerings below)

Lastly, the Creekside Cafe is providing free meals to all physicians.
