About This Location
The MarinHealth Breast Health Center was specifically designed with our patients' comfort and convenience in mind. This ultra-modern facility offers spacious, welcoming surroundings along with advanced diagnostic technology to provide our patients individualized, nurturing care.
When it comes to breast health, early detection is the best protection. We recommend annual screening mammograms starting at age 40. We also offer bone density screening and a comprehensive range of diagnostic and testing services that put us at the forefront of care. If mammography or other breast screening results show concerns, you will be notified within 48 hours and may be referred to one of our Breast Surgical Oncologists.
Appointments
For the convenience of our patients, we are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, as well as 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on the third Saturday of each month. In most cases we offer next-day appointment availability. You can also request a mammography exam or bone density screening, online. For all other appointment requests, please give us a call at 415-461-4282.
After scheduling your mammography screening appointment, please complete your online pre-registration in MyChart in advance of coming to see us. After you have pre-registered, please complete our screening survey. On the day of your appointment, you will have an opportunity to verify your registration information using a tablet during check-in.
Breast Center Accreditation
Our Breast Health Center has outstanding early detection rates and is one of a few Bay Area Breast Health Centers to be accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). The NAPBC is a consortium of national, professional organizations focused on breast health and dedicated to the improvement of quality care and outcomes of patients with diseases of the breast through evidence-based standards and patient and professional education.
