Kelly Stroup, MSN, CDE, CNL

Kelly Stroup is the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Diabetes care program at Marin Health Medical Center. She has always been passionate about diabetes care and education; even before she became a registered nurse more than a decade ago. Following completion of her Masters’ Degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, she worked part time as an inpatient certified diabetes educator at John Muir in Concord.

She began her time at Marin Health as an inpatient diabetes nurse specialist in 2017. She is excited to lead the outpatient team at the Braden Diabetes Center as well as the inpatient glucose management team. Her clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, desire for improvement and passion for diabetes care pours into her work daily. As a certified clinical nurse leader and certified diabetes educator, she has a wealth of knowledge and experiences to improve diabetes care for patients and provide strong leadership for staff.

During her time away from work, she spends time with her husband and two daughters – riding bikes, playing games, reading, sewing and canning. She also enjoys warm days outside and eating great food.
