Laboratory Services

In some cases, your doctor may prescribe certain tests to better understand your medical condition. MarinHealth's world-class Laboratory Services Team performs diagnostic tests for patients in our hospital-based outpatient laboratory and our team is comprised of caring clinical lab scientists, pathologists, phlebotomists, clinical lab assistants and representatives.

Our Services Include

• Blood draws: Including, STAT testing for immediate needs
• EKGs: Adult & Pediatric
• STAT Orders (including approved contract testing Quest Diagnostic Patients)
• Urine, stool, sputum and wound culture drop-offs
• Semen for post-vasectomy analysis drop-offs

Walk-in Appointments

Please confirm that your provider placed a lab order before you arrive at our facility for your walk-in appointment. If you are a MarinHealth Patient, the order will appear in MyChart. If you don't see the order, or if you have questions, please contact your provider or clinic. If you are uncertain about if we can collect labs for you, please call us to confirm: 415-925-7150.

No appointment is needed for Laboratory and EKG services. All testing is performed on a first come, first serve basis.

Please note: We are unable to provide services for routine lab testing for patients with orders (electronic or paper requisition) if Quest is listed as the performing laboratory. For these orders, please visit the Quest website for location and appointment information.

Viewing Your Results

If you'd like direct access to your laboratory results, sign up for MyChart. With rare exceptions, lab results are released to MyChart for direct viewing by the patient within 24 hours or on the next business day. Alternatively, you can contact your provider or clinic for results.
