Helping Patients Resume Their Normal Life

Our occupational therapists guide patients in performing daily activities, increasing the function of joints and muscles to help regain independence, and preventing further disability. They also educate patients and family on how to maintain the progress made in therapy. At this time, our Occupational Therapy Program is offered as an inpatient service only.

Our Programs

The following Occupational Therapy Programs are available to patients during their stay at MarinHealth Medical Center:

• Pre-op classes for total joint surgical patients
• Evaluation and treatment for patients with joint replacements
• Rehabilitation for patients recovering from post-operative back surgery, post-operative heart surgery, and stroke
• Therapy for post-trauma patients and those with a variety of other injuries
